Frequently asked questions
Questions about OncoGest
How do you monitor patients after chemotherapy?
OncoGest sends short questions on days 1, 3 and 7 after the session, then every week, via WhatsApp, SMS or phone call. Fever, bleeding or shortness of breath trigger immediate guidance and an alert to nursing.
How do you reduce delays in starting chemotherapy?
With pre-screening the day before and lab results arriving early, the pharmacy starts compounding sooner and arrivals are spread across the chairs throughout the day.
Does OncoGest help avoid denials on oncology APAC claims?
Yes. The pre-audit checks the ICD code, the SIGTAP procedure and the protocol before submission, and the file goes out validated against the official schema and digitally signed.
How do you reduce claim denials in chemotherapy billing?
Most denials come from data that doesn't match: ICD code, procedure, protocol or a missing document. OncoGest checks this before submission and shows the denial risk of each APAC. A dashboard with what was billed, denied and recovered is on the roadmap.
Is OncoGest suitable for oncology clinics and public hospitals?
It was designed for public and private cancer centers and oncology clinics: chemotherapy pharmacy, nursing and billing. It works alongside the existing health record. The product is in development; talk to our team about pilots.
